When using a thesarus you must first find the guide words on a page each page is numbered alphabeticly. Then once you find the the guide word that is closest to the word you're looking for you then must find the guide word that will lead you to the synonyms and antonyms. After you find the guide word you must then find the part of speach which is always after the guide word. Then right after the part of speach you will find the synonyms for the word which is usually the reason for using a thesaurus in the first place. Next you will see the illistrative example which uses the word in a sentence. Lastly you will then find the antonyms which are usually at the bottom of the page. In conclusion reading and using thesaurus is easy if you know where things are.
